Individual Success for Carine Junior Football Club

Northern Conference Fairest and Best Vote Count

The 2017 Northern Conference Fairest and Best Vote Count was held on Monday 11 September at Seacrest Park.

More than 300 people attended over the duration of the evening which celebrated football excellence in the Year 8 - Year 12 Northern Conference Competitions.

Four of our Open Rules players received invitations to the event; Campbell Henderson (Year 8 Cats, Gold Division), Bonheur Cubahiro (Year 8 Cougars, Maroon Division), Eben Rasmussen (Year 10 Cats, Red Division) and Craig Bothe (Year 10 Cats, Red Division).

We congratulate all four players on their efforts throughout the season and to Bonheur who finished 6th in his division and Craig, polling 8th.

Carine Junior Football Club is especially proud to announce that Campbell Henderson won the fairest and best award for Year 8 Cats, Gold Division and Eben Rasmussen was runner up for the Year 10, Red Division.

All four Carine Junior Football Club players are a credit to their teams, their families and their Club and we congratulate you all.

Subiaco District Umpires Awards

IMG_9101.JPG

On Wednesday 13 September, Ryan Harrison (Year 8 Cats) was awarded Most Improved Umpire - Modified Rules for 2017 at the Subiaco District Umpires Awards Presentation dinner.

In addition he was further recognised for his efforts this year by being appointed as a Goal Umpire for the Year 7 Blue Grand Final to be held this Sunday at Seacrest.

Given that Ryan is the only boy from our Club currently acting as both a player and an umpire and the fact that he also missed a considerable part of the season due to injury, we think it's an incredible achievement.

Ryan has umpired a few games for his own Club this year (including the Year 5 Derby, pictured below), and we know he is highly thought of by players and parents alike. Congratulations.
