Welcome to the 2025 season at Carine JFC! We are excited to be opening expressions of interest for this year’s traditional Girls Pre-Season trip that will be taking place for the fourth time in 2025. The tour is open to new and existing girls from Year 7 through 12 who are registered with Carine JFC for the 2025 season. The tour will take place in the Dunsborough/Busselton region from Friday 4 April - Sunday 6 April 2025.
Plans are being finalised and the tour is expected to cost in the range of $225 - $250 and will include: a game of football against Dunsborough JFC, accommodation, all transport, breakfast Saturday and Sunday, lunch Saturday, snacks throughout the trip, dinner on Saturday evening, a sporting, recreation or adventure-based Saturday afternoon activity, souvenir trip photo or similar memorabilia and other club resources, fees and consumables as part of the tour program. It is our priority to make the trip as inclusive as possible so if you do need to discuss payment plans, please feel free to contact me directly.
Final tour costs will be calculated closer to the date once group numbers are confirmed and a budget is finalised. We will also seek support from parents who have the capacity and are willing to stay at the campsite to act as official camp chaperones. Without sufficient numbers of official chaperones, we will be unable to run the trip. Our group will be staying in dormitory style accommodation at the Camp Geographe SU Campsite in Busselton and the teams will be accompanied by myself and official tour chaperones. Parents are welcome to accompany the trip but due to expected numbers, only official personnel will be able to stay at the accommodation.
At this stage, the planned trip itinerary is as follows:
Friday 4 April
PM - 4.15 departure from the Carine Clubrooms, chartered bus transportation to campsite, dinner en-route, settle in at camp, team meetings.
Saturday 5 April
AM - Campsite breakfast, travel to game, and lunch at local Dunsborough JFC.
PM - Travel to outdoor adventure-based activity and then back to camp, team-building activities, beach swim, dinner at campsite.
Sunday 6 April
AM - Breakfast, clean campsite, beach fitness session, pack up, check out, travel to lunch at Bunbury Farmers Market, chartered bus transportation home.
