Coaches play an important role not only in sporting life, but also the everyday life of the players they coach. They influence not only the development of football skills and performance but the development of our boys and girls as people and their approach to other aspects of their life.
The Carine Junior Football Club Committee invites aspiring and current coaches to express interest in coaching roles for Junior and Youth teams, Year 3 through to Year 12. We welcome interest from within and external to the Club and from our older male and female players (current and former) who may be interested in learning the ropes. We are keen to increase our pool of available coaches and to develop assistant coaches in season 2022.
As part of a range of initiatives to support community football, CoachAFL have announced that all coaches will be able to register and accredit through the CoachAFL platform free of charge (usually $49.50). You’ll have access to a range of resources and benefits including the new Rookie Me Coach Platform.
An annual application process is in place to:
ensure we have the best coaches for Carine Junior Football Club teams to develop our players in a positive football environment; and
enable all parents and interested parties have an opportunity to coach Carine Junior Football Club teams.
The Club’s Football Operations Team will review all applications and be in touch to discuss your interest further and arrange any interviews, if required.
Please contact Brett Wills, Coaching Coordinator on 0438 314 643, if you'd like to know more about coaching for our Club, either now or into the future.
