Notice of 2023 AGM

NOTICE OF 2023 AGM
Parents, please join us at the Carine Clubrooms at 7.00pm on Thursday 26 October for our AGM. Everyone in attendance will go into the draw to win $100 off their membership for season 2024.

We are in dire need of fresh faces to join our committee.

All positions will be declared vacant as we eagerly search for new talent to strengthen our club. 

Don't worry if you're new to this, as roles can be shared and our outgoing committee members will be there to offer ample support. We are especially excited to introduce a brand-new Auskick Sub-Committee. If you have a deep passion for Auskick, we would love to have you on board and accept your support. 

To make our club thrive in 2024, it is imperative that we fill ALL roles. There will be incentives to discuss if you join us in 2024:

- Junior Coaching Coordinator

- Team Photos and Trophies Coordinator

- Volunteer Coordinator

- Property Manager.

If you are interested in any of these roles, please complete the attached form to nominate yourself. Remember, roles can be shared, so you won't be flying solo and will have a monumental amount of support. 

 

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all the 2023 committee members for their tremendous efforts, especially the following departing members:

1. Alan Thomas - Alan provided invaluable support as interim treasurer during 2023 but is unable to continue in 2024. 

2. Brad Hearn - Brad served as interim secretary but will be pursuing another role in 2024.

3. Amanda Monaghan - Amanda has done a sensational job managing the photos & trophy portfolio for the past three seasons, but as her son moves on, she would like to step away and give someone else the opportunity to be part of the committee. 

4. Tony Hilton - Tony's journey as Auskick Coordinator has come to an end, he will be moving up to mods with his son.

5. Craig Groth - Craig has done an amazing job as Property Manager this year. He still supports the Club but as his children have grown out of Youth Footy, he has chosen to step out of the role and is ready to pass on to someone new.

 

Notice is hereby given of the 2023 AGM for the Carine Junior Football Club Inc to be held at the Carine Clubrooms, Beach Road, Carine on Thursday 26th October at 7.00pm.

To consider, and if thought fit, pass the following special resolution: The admission of Mr Brad Hearn as a Life Member of the Carine Junior Football Club. Note: Special resolutions can only be passed if more than 75% of those present and voting at the AGM vote in favour.

Brad has been a loyal and hard-working club member for ten years and has been holding a committee role for seven years. He has held many roles, including Auskick Coaching Coordinator, Coaching Coordinator, Vice President & President, and most recently holding the roles of Past President and interim Secretary.  Brad's vast knowledge has only strengthened the Carine JFC and been a support to all.

Please note that all positions are vacated, and all interested parties should consider nominating for a position. If more than two nominations are received for one position, a ballot will be held. You may nominate for a committee position in person on the evening of the AGM, or provide your nomination prior by completing the form below.
