On Sunday 23 May, our Year 5/6 Junior Girls participated in Little League for the first time at a WAFLW game. It’s great for our girls to have their own role models, and they joined the Subiaco Women, along with girls from Sorrento Duncraig, to play half-time for the League game, representing Subiaco.

A highlight for the girls was meeting their own idol, our Charlie Thomas, now with the Subiaco Women and playing League in 2020 at just 16 years of age. Unfortunately Charlie is recovering from a broken arm and not currently playing - we were so pleased that she made time for the girls and came and said hello, sticking around for a photo opportunity.
