We held a special celebration for Mother's Day at our Clubrooms on the weekend with a gold coin donation in exchange for mum's coffee or tea and a sweet treat (lemon meringue, red velvet and chocolate cake were on the menu). It was all organised by our Melbourne Trip Group and our social events coordinator, with a special Mother's Day raffle being conducted on the day too.

We invited mums from all the other clubs playing at Beach Road to join us too, and are very pleased to say we raised a healthy $272 for breast cancer research and added a bit more to the Trip Group's kitty too. Congratulations to Nicole Groth who won the hamper. Nicole is new to our Club this year, with son Ethan playing in Year 7.
