On Friday 4 August 2017 we held our annual quiz night at the Subiaco Sports Bar, Domain Stadium. It was a sell out event, with 34 tables of parents and supporters joining us for the evening.
We chose a different format this year, with the popular Rock n Roll vs Sport Trivia evening hosted by Lachy Reid and Chris Murphy. The questions were a mix of trivia, sport and of course, rock n roll with everyone joining in the singing (Darryl Braithwaite's Horses just never gets old, does it?)
With two tables of life members and representation from Auskick all the way through to Year 12, our scorers were kept very busy. The Snow Leopards lead all the way with Cyril Ravioli just behind until the bonus round which lead to a tie-breaker between The Tea Bags and Subiaco District. Subi District won the evening and well done to Lincoln, Matt, Rosemary, Alex, Callum, Isaac and partners for a brilliant effort. Thanks also to the seniors from the Hamerlsey Carine Amateur Football Club for coming along and supporting us. These events don't happen without the significant efforts of your committee and our sincere thanks especially to our social coordinator Luke Richardson and his band of merry helpers.
